Ian Beale actor Adam Woodyatt splits I'm A Celeb viewers with performance in trial

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! new boy Adam Woodyatt split viewers with his behaviour after one of the trials on Saturday night.

Adam, who played Ian Beale in EastEnders, took part with David Ginola and Naughty Boy in the Cells of Hell, which saw them unlocking boxes while being pelted with offal.

David and Adam both managed to unlock seven boxes, but Naughty Boy - who had to unlock the final boxes to determine how many stars they took home - only managed four.

It meant a dinner of fish heads and a few random vegetables.

Adam, who toured Devon in a camper van recently, appeared visibly frustrated with Naughty Boy not being able to keep up with him and David.

And things only got worse when Naughty Boy suggested Adam could have done more to help him.

The trio tried to support one another as they broke the disappointing news to the rest of the group, but Adam made sure people knew who it was who had failed to capitalise on the keys that he and David had secured.

Twitter user @AshSRRose said: "Adam has become my hero, it’s like he can sense how we as the public feel about naughty boy and he’s expressing it for us in the castle."

"Aaaaargh Naughty Boy has gone even further down in my estimation after he tried to blame Adam! Those keys were totally visible, he was just useless!" said @Lizziewhit.

@GtanCred added: "Naughty Boy throws Adam under the bus (unfairly) then says what he always says, "I tried my best."

However, not everyone agreed.

"David showed class after that trial, supportive & realistic....the complete opposite of Adam," said @dj_potter.

"Adam was making quite sure the others knew it was Naughty Boy who’d let them down," added @philjanko.

Adam was also called into action to help try and settle a dispute between Naughty Boy and sprinter Kadeena Cox.

The two clashed over cooking rice, with Kadeena angry that Naughty Boy had not started cooking when she returned to the camp.

Adam's initial attempts and patching things up were unsuccessful as the two carried on bickering.

But they did eventually put it behind them, sharing some kind words and a hug.
