Better than sleeping pills Aldi shoppers go wild for new tea product best sleep
ALDI shoppers have praised a new product they say helps them to sleep, describing it "better than sleeping pills".

Aldi often changes and updates its stock in line with customer demand. This week, customers have found a new product on the supermarket’s shelves that they say helped them have “the best sleep ever”.

Posting a photo of a new box of Aldi teas on the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group, customer Lindsay Mary wrote: “Best night’s sleep I've had in ages after this sleep tea.”

The teas come in a box of three different flavours: passion flower, camomile, and apple.

Aldi has described the product as being able to “help support normal sleep”.

The product is part of a new range of Aldi teas, including a peach and orange “immune tea”, which contains vitamin C, a “digest” tea with mint and ginger, as well as a “detox” tea.

The latter contains selenium, which is known to treat high cholesterol.

Many customers agreed with Lindsay, saying the teas had helped her to sleep better too.

Catia Teixeira commented: “I have been taking the sleep one since two days ago and honestly it works better than sleeping pills and also works on my anxiety levels so I drink a cup here and there during the day.”

Catia added: “The taste is lovely too.”

DON'T MISS:

Julie Bond wrote: “I use the Twinings one but will definitely be swapping to these saving £1 a box! Thanks for sharing.”

Cath Halsall added: “I love it. I take a cup up to bed and read for 30 minutes before I turn the light out.”

The box of teas comes with 20 teabags and is part of the supermarket’s Diplomat range of teas.

Aldi said each bag is meant to be put in hot water for at least three to five minutes.

Although some shoppers complained that the teas had not given them a restful night’s sleep, they did comment on their taste.

Teri Farr wrote: “I’m having one right now as they taste lovely and as they didn’t work when I took them at night thinking of building them up through the day lol.”

Nicole Rogers said: “I've had these two nights in a row now and had the worst night’s sleep!!”

Liz McGuire added: “I drank it for the first time last night and slept fine. Maybe it suits some more than others.”

Kirsty Lotfus commented: “I have the chamomile tea before bed and it calms me wouldn't say help me sleep but definitely makes you a bit calmer.”

Charlotte Kelly recommended drinking “two cups” of the tea for better taste and results.

She added: “Leave the bag in too.”

Lucy Lancaster, on the other hand, advised against the tea. She said: “I agree. I tried it. Lol. Rubbish.”
