The brand new series of BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are continues, as celebrities like Joe Lycett, Josh Widdicombe and Dame Judi Dench dive into their family trees.

In tonight’s episode, former footballer and TV presenter Alex Scott MBE will learn more about her Jewish ancestry before travelling to Jamaica for the first time in her life in search of more information about her great grandparents.

The Football Focus host is then devastated to discover that her four times great grandfather Robert Francis Coombs was a slave owner.

But back in the present day, who is Alex Scott dating? Here’s everything you need to know about the TV presenter’s love life.

Alex Scott MBE is a television presenter, pundit and former professional footballer.

Over the course of her sporting career, Scott played as a right-back for Arsenal, spent a season at Birmingham City, made 140 appearances for the England women’s national team and represented Team GB at the Olympic Games in 2012.

Following her retirement from football in 2017, Scott turned her attention to broadcasting, co-presenting on shows including Match of the Day Kickabout, BBC Sport and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The 37-year-old is also a frequent guest presenter on The One Show and took over from Dan Walker as the new presenter of Football Focus earlier this year.

She was a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing series 17, finishing fifth overall with her professional dance partner Neil Jones.

It isn’t known whether Alex Scott is currently dating anyone, however, the pundit was previously romantically linked to Corrie star Sam Robertson after the pair were spotted enjoying a romantic meal together in London last year.

The Scottish actor and model is best known for his role as Ken Barlow’s grandson, Adam, in Coronation Street.

The 36-year-old first joined the long-running ITV soap in 2004, playing Adam Barlow until 2007 before returning to the show in 2016.

He has also starred in TV shows including Beaver Falls, Bedlam and Stonemouth, and was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.
