Alexander The Great Appearance In Moon Knight Explained

Marc and Layla figure out the exact location of the Ammit’s tomb with the help of Knonshu’s power that displayed the location of stars 2000 years ago. After this, they both reach the tomb before Arthur and start looking for Ammit’s Ushabti. Marc is not much interested in Egyptian history, but Steven is the complete opposite. By looking at the Macedonian scriptures on the mysterious sarcophagus, Steven understands that the tomb he is looking at right now is of no one else but Alexander The Great.

Now, the question arises, what has Alexander The Great had to do with everything going on? As soon as Steven opens up Alexander’s sarcophagus, he realizes that the great king was the voice of Ammit. And if that’s true, the Ushabti of Ammit is hidden at a place where no one can locate it. This means that the Ushabti is somewhere inside the king’s body. So, Steven puts his hand down Alexander’s throat and finds the Ushabti of Ammit there.

Interestingly, Alexander The Great is a part of MCU Universe, and he goes by the name Alexander of Macedonia. He was the king of Macedonia from 356 B.C to 323 B.C. Most of his Marvel history is similar to that of the real Alexander The Great.
