What Arsenal need to win the Premier League title News
As the title race goes down to the wire, find out what we need to happen over the next week if we're to be crowned champions

With one game to go in this season's Premier League title race, the destination of the trophy will be decided on the final day of the season.

Manchester City's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday means we head into the final round of matches two points behind Pep Guardiola's team, but still in with a chance of being crowned champions.

To help you follow the twists and turns, here is what we need to happen to secure a first league title in 20 years:

The table

1. Man City 37 27 7 3 93 33 60 88
2. Arsenal 37 27 5 5 89 28 61 86

Final fixtures

The final day

With their two-point lead, City ultimately have the advantage going into Sunday when all fixtures kick off at the same time.

To have any chance of finishing top of the table, we must beat Everton at Emirates Stadium to collect enough points to climb above City. Any other result is not good enough.

Should we do that, we need Manchester City drop points against the Hammers.

A loss for City coupled with a win for ourselves would see us win the title. Should City only get a draw, the two teams will be level on 89 points, but we would be victorious because of our superior goal difference.

However, if City beat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium, they will be champions regardless of what result we get on the final day.

There is now no chance that goals scored or a head-to-head record would decide the title. Should City drop the points required to give us a chance of glory, then Guardiola's team will not be able to move level on goal difference with ourselves.
