The Apprentice star Dr Asif Munaf is facing calls to be struck off the medical register amid an anti-Semitism storm, MailOnline can reveal.

Munaf - who owns his own wellness brand - sparked a furious backlash after he made a series of 'anti-Jewish' online posts, including calling Zionism a 'satanic cult' in the aftermath of Hamas' murderous October 7 attacks and calling Zionists 'odiously ogre-like'.

The Apprentice star Dr Asif Munaf has hit out at the BBC, claiming 'they did me dirty' after the broadcaster dropped him from a spin-off show for making 'a stream of anti-Jewish' comments on social media.

BBC bosses edited Munaf out of tonight's episode of The Apprentice: You're Fired! in the wake of the posts.

And hitting back at the Corporation in a series of Twitter/X posts today, Munaf accused the broadcaster of '[doing] me dirty' before branding Israel a 'neo-colonial white supremacist death cult'.

MailOnline can now exclusively reveal that the Campaign Against Antisemitism are preparing to make a formal complaint to the General Medical Council (GMC), which handles doctor registrations. The GMC have the power to investigate improper conduct by doctors and MailOnline understands the body will receive the complaint in due course.

It comes after the BBC was warned to 'get its own house in order'. Marie van der Zyl, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, told Radio 4's Today programme: 'If the BBC isn't going to get its own house in order and look at some of these people on our screens, then you have to wonder what's going on.'

A Campaign Against Antisemitism spokesperson said: 'We would be interested to know who provided it. We are submitting a complaint to the GMC about Mr Munaf. He is remorseless and has no place in professional medicine.'

They added: 'Asif Munaf has reportedly spoken of ''the Zionist antichrist'', the ''slimy Zionist PR machine'', ''odiously ogre-like Zionists'', ''Zionist doctors'', ''weaponising the Holocaust'' and more. He should never have been on the show in the first place. Why do these things keep happening at the Beeb?'.

'Apparently, when it became known about his anti-Semitic tweets after the show, which was filmed last year, he was sent on some sort of diversity and training course.

'You have to ask why the producers didn't make further enquiries. But if the BBC isn't going to get its own house in order and look at some of these people on our screens, then you have to wonder what's going on.'

Dr Munaf was sent on an equalities training course after the BBC was alerted to his tweets once filming had concluded.

The corporation said had the posts been there before filming, he would not have been included in the show.

A spokesman for The Apprentice said earlier this month: 'After filming had taken place, we were made aware of concerns over social media posts that Asif had made after he had left the process.

'As soon as we were alerted, we took immediate action and spoke to Asif in detail on this. Asif took part in specialised training to understand why his posts may cause offence.'

Dr Munaf insisted 'it was not my intention to offend anyone', and added: 'The beliefs I hold and have shared are based on the values that I was brought up with.'

However, he has since continued to make controversial remarks about the conflict in Israel and Gaza.

Two weeks ago, he wrote that the 'Zionist mask is falling' and accused Israel of weaponizing the Holocaust to 'push another fascist ideology'.

Earlier this week, Danny Cohen - former director of BBC Television - claimed the training 'clearly did not work' citing further offensive remarks by Dr Munaf.

Writing in The Telegraph, Mr Cohen said: 'The BBC's inaction sends a message. You can be racist towards Jews and there are no consequences. You can enjoy fame on the BBC even if you are the kind of person whose views painfully remind Jewish viewers of Nazi propaganda.

'Once again, the Jewish community has been failed by the BBC.'

Concerns about Dr Munaf were first raised by the Jewish News after Dr Munaf appeared on BBC show Dragon's Den.

His now defunct University of Masculinity was also criticised for its controversial postings and retweeting posts by controversial influencer Andrew Tate.

In one post about women, he reportedly asked: 'Have you ever met a beautiful feminist?'

Meanwhile, a video on his Instagram account is said to have been titled 'Don't Trust What Women Say.'

Dr Munaf has been approached for comment.
