BOYA has announced the BOYAMIC, an all-in-one wireless microphone with on-board recording that operates in the 2.4GHz frequency range.

BOYA states that the BOYAMIC is a good option for live streaming, vlogging, mobile journalism, etc.

The BOYAMIC features 8GB of onboard memory. Each BOYAMIC transmitter supports up to 15 hours of on-board recording. As far as I am aware he BOYAMIC cannot record 32-bit float.

The TX units come with a built-in microphone capsule and a 3.5mm TRS mic input or line input. The TX units weigh 24g / 0.84oz.

The BOYAMIC features a 48kHz sampling rate, 24-bit bit depth, a claimed 90 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 120 dB.

The BOYAMIC supports connection to smartphone, tablets and computers using USB-C or Lightning, or you can connect it to cameras or other devices via a 3.3mm TRS cable.

There are three different operating modes you can set the TX to.

You can use the BOYAMIC RX to send audio to a smartphone or tablet as well as a camera or device with a 3.5mm mic input simultaneously.

BOYA claims that the BOYAMIC has up to 10 hours of operating time (about 6 hours when the onboard recording is enabled). It also comes with an included charging case which will let you charge the system 5x before it needs to be charged.

BOYA also claims that the operating range of the system is up to 200m / 656′ line of sight.

The system comes with belt clips and magnetic clips. I am not sure why you would want to clip a microphone to a cap, but each to their own. As usual with these types of systems, there is big branding all over the units.
