Domino's launch new cookie with chocolate filling from popular snack

Domino's has launched a new dessert in time for Valentine's Day in partnership with major chocolate manufacturer Creme Egg.

The popular pizza chain has teamed up with Cadbury's for its latest menu offering ahead of February 14.

It features a gooey chocolate product loved by fans in its own right, but which will now be available to add to your Domino's order.

However, the product has not been well-received by Health Minister Lord Bethell, who took to X, formerly Twitter, to express his dissatisfaction with the extremely sugary combination.

Domino's has coupled up with Cadbury to launch the brand new 'Domino's Cookies made with Cadbury Creme Egg', which fans can get their hands on nationwide from Monday February 12.

The limited edition cookie sees Domino's cookie dough stuffed with a whole Cadbury Creme Egg. 

Customers will find the perfect date night dessert – with two cookies in each box.

Not everyone is convinced however.

Lord Bethell, disgusted by the launch of the dessert, fumed: 'This is disgusting. A whole cream egg in a cookie. 

'These are serious corporate food companies. What are they thinking?

'The executive team, the board and the shareholders should be ashamed of themselves.'

In contrast to Lord Bethell, fast food fans reacted joyfully to the news on Instagram, expressing their delight at the dessert's arrival. 

One user enthused: 'WHAT A PAIRING'. 

A second exclaimed: 'GET IN MY BELLY!'. 

Another wrote: 'Oh good Lord'.

Domino's Cookies made with Cadbury Creme Egg will be available to order online, through the Domino's app and in Domino's stores across the UK until Monday April 8.
