Saint John Henry Newman Canonization 13 October 2019

On Sunday 13th October 2019, Blessed Cardinal Newman was canonized as Saint John Henry Newman in a two hour mass in St Peter\'s Square. In a celebration attended by thousands, Newman and four others were canonized as the final step in sainthood. Blessed Cardinal Newman Catholic High School will be celebrating this event both in an assembly on Tuesday 15th October, in events each day during lunches and in a special celebratory mass with his Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins as the main celebrant on Monday 21st October. Pope Francis has left us all with a message and a challenge ....to be the lights of the world to those around us.
