BBC Michael McIntyre's The Wheel: Fans in awe of 'beautiful' Carol Vorderman as they can't believe she's 61

Viewers watching Michael McIntyre's The Wheel tonight were in awe of Carol Vorderman as they can’t believe her age.

Tonight’s episode of the Saturday-night game show saw the contestants assisted by Harry Redknapp, Carol Vorderman, Nick Grimshaw, Andi Oliver, Tom Read Wilson, Angela Scanlon and Chunkz.

They took on the spinning wheel, answering questions in the hope of securing a cash prize.

Some viewers were a little distracted by someone else though.

Tweets came pouring in with fans in awe of Carol Vorderman, 61, saying how good she looked.

The MBE is best known for co-hosting the game show Countdown for 26 years from 1982 until 2008.

But it wasn’t her brains viewers were admiring on tonight’s show.

One said: “Blimey, what's happened to Carol Vorderman? She's improved her look! Had to look twice!”

Another wrote: "How gorgeous does #carolvorderman look on the wheel?!Love her hair dark. Proof you can be a beautiful 50 something brunette." - she's not even in her 50s!

Someone else put: “Carol vorders is unreal ! Don’t even @ me !!!!!”

While a fourth commented: “ @carolvorders looking marvellous on The Wheel”

One fan even thought contestant Ryan had the hots for Carol, saying: “Ryan definitely fancies Carol” with a laughing emoji."

She caused quite the stir and it didn’t stop there.

“I can't get over how stunning Carol Vorderman looks!” said one.

A second tweeted: “Carol looking very attractive on The Wheel this evening.”

One tweeted her directly, saying: “Love your dress on the wheel.. you look beautiful, but you always do.”

“Watching bonkers #TheWheel and have to say, @carolvorders looks absolutely lovely. Gorgeous woman,” said another.

There were also loads of messages coming through simply saying comments like: “Carol Vorderman is a stunner.”

One even went as far to say: “Carol Vorderman must be the ultimate Milf.”

For 61 years of age, it’s pretty impressive to get what seemed like the whole of Twitter talking about how good she looked.
