'So sorry' The Chase's Mark Labbett issues apology to Carol Vorderman after brutal TV exit

To be safe after being successful on the show so far, Carol decided to take on three Chasers for £20,000.

Playing very well, Carol was sailing through the questions, with the Chasers left with only a few seconds on the clock.

Nonetheless, the tables turned when Carol had a brain blank for around four questions, leaving her to have to "pass" them.

Carol unfortunately lost the show, with the Chasers taking to Twitter to apologise to the star for her early exit.
