Hull KR given Challenge Cup Final rematch with quarter-final draw made

A repeat of last year's Challenge Cup Final is on the cards after Hull KR were drawn against Leigh Leopards. The two clubs produced one of the classic finals in the competition's history last year, with Leigh ultimately ending a wait of more than half a century by winning in Golden Point.

They will now face off again with motivation high. Leigh are looking to defend the trophy while Hull KR are looking to go one step further than they did last year and end their long wait for a trophy. The Robins have already extracted revenge, though they would of course have rather won at Wembley. Since then they have defeated Leigh twice, thumping them in the play-offs less than a fortnight after their initial heartbreak. That defeat helped them climb into fourth at the Leopards' expense before knocking them out of the play-offs.

Elsewhere, Warrington Wolves will travel to St Helens in what is arguably the tie of the round after the clubs' respective starts to the season. Catalans Dragons will host 2022 finalists Huddersfield Giants while defending Super League champions Wigan Warriors have been tasked with overcoming Castleford Tigers in West Yorkshire.
