Derek Chisora vs Joseph Parker 2 RESULT from heavyweight rematch
Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker clash for a second tonight as they look to settle their heavyweight rivalry in Manchester

Joseph Parker prevailed in a heavyweight classic with Derek Chisora tonight in Manchester after scoring three knockdowns.

A brutal war unfolded between the pair with Chisora sent crashing to the canvas three times during the contest but in true warrior spirit refused to give in.

Parker was in control for the majority of the contest however and gained his victory on the judges scorecards by unanimous decision.

Both men were in the last chance saloon as they seek another heavyweight world title shot - and defeat could now spell the end of Chisora's long heavyweight career.

Parker, who is now trained by former world champion Andy Lee, will now look to force his way into heavyweight title contention but will likely need to recover after the bruising battle.

"I don't know he was one tough guy honestly it felt like a continuation of the first fight," Parker said.

"What a christmas present! I felt stronger than in the first fight and it was important to start strong.

"As you can see there is more improvements to be made, I just rushed it and got too excited at times but again there is alot of practice to be done.

"He is a credit to the sport of boxing, the crowd went mental when he walked out."

Parker has prevailed in the heavyweight rematch against Chisora tonight in Manchester with the pair battling in a brutal classic.

The referee scored the contest at 115-110, 115-111, 114-112 in favour of Parker.

The final round of a classic encounter between Parker and Chisora that far eclipsed their opening meeting.

Parker started to use his long arms to keep the distance and prevent Chisora from advancing while leaning in.

Scrappy exchanges and clinches continued to emerge in the final round with the pair's energy levels completely zapped.

Parker lands further heavy shots to Chisora but the Briton still refuses to be moved shaking his head in a warrior like expression.

Both men let their hands go despite the lack of energy in the legs with Chisora and Parker firing away what is left.

Incredible respect between the pair as the final bell sounds with Chisora somehow making it until the end.

An incredible encounter which Parker has dominated despite the fighting spirit of Chisora earning plaudits.

Just two rounds left of a huge heavyweight war in Manchester.

Chisora stumbled in to range firing in heavy body work while switching to the head but looked depleted of energy.

Paker knows with his coach Andy Lee he just needs to hold on if he is to prevail in the heavyweight rematch.

Chisora continues to have success to Parker who continues to drop his guard despite needing to close out the fight.

He now seems intent to keep the Briton at bay but fires a neat left hand in response to a series of successful jabs from Chisora.

Both men flailed uncomfortably into the ropes with Chisora's legs clearly out of energy.

Both fighters started to look fatigued with the pace as Parker started to try and use his size advantage to keep the distance.

Parker levered out the jab to try and keep Chisora from desperately stumbling into range.

A flurry appeared from Chisora with a minute left in the round with Parker's leading left lowering with fatigue.

The referee seperates the pair who are continuing to fire away at each other despite the endurance being severely tested.

Parker tries again with a ripping combination at the start of the ninth with Chisora firing back desperately with the referee potentially looking in to stop the bout.

Chisora is desperately hanging on with Parker continuing to try and fire his looping right hand into Chisora. who looks laboured and fatigued.

His right uppercut continued to be lined up as Chisora looked increasingly off balance.

He fell into the ropes after firing away his own right hand as he may finally have emptied his tank.

However further success for Chisora came before the final bell firing some hammering shots into the head before the end of the round.

A real classic unfolding in Manchester.

Chisora continues to find energy deep in his reserves to attack Parker.

But the New Zealander continues to fire precise and ripping shots into the temple of Chisora as he approaches.

Further thudding shots happen during an opening from Parker which send Chisora flying back into the ropes with a third knockdown scored.

He walks desperately to the corner again but survives as the final bell sounds for the end of the stanza.

Chisora goes down again in the seventh for the second time after a swift right uppercut from Parker landed once again.

He tries to counter desperately on the ropes but is pushed back from Parker who tries to desperately find his trademark stoppage.

Chisora fires back again despite being caught by another uppercut and drives forward again. INCREDIBLE!

Chisora is back again firing away with huge combinations and what an incredible end to the round once again!

Chisora immediately walks on to another ripping straight shot as he continues to walk forward and try to push the pace.

The pressure continued from Chisora ripping hooks into his body as the trademark attack before picking shots to the head.

A patterned uppercut continued to come in from Parker as Chisora thundered forward followed by a precise right hook.

Further flush shots landed from Parker but Chisora remained unmoved.

A simply sensational back and forth contest continues to unfold in Manchester.

Chisora continues to walk forward despite his previous testing times which resulted in the earlier knockdown.

Parker tried to calm down the events by flicking the jab out and keeping the distance to Chisora who swiftly bowled forward.

A slightly quieter end to the round after a ferocious pace, but Chisora continued to rally forward and work the inside despite walking into several single shots.

A better round for Chisora who tried to get closer and let the shots go in a stark contrast to the depths of the knockdown in the last stanza.

Chisora tried to push forward through the more slick and evasive barrier of Parker in the opening stages of the fourth.

Parker continued to have success with his neat shot selection and variety providing a platform to his work in the quieter early stages of the round.

The contest started to get scrappy as Parker came into range and smothered his work.

But it didn't last long with Parker firing a textbook right hand to floor Chisora into the ropes who was sent stumbling in a knockdown for the New Zealander.

Another great round for Parker who was really honing in the more powerful shots.

WOW! Chisora fired back with some incredible power towards the final bell after making a recovery to rile up the crowd.

He is held back by the referee who stops his passionate war cry.

Chisora seemed to have regained his footing in the opening stages sizing his opponent once again by taking centre ring.

He responded by closing the distance and letting his hands go to head and body.

But every time he approached, Parker looked dangerous with his single shots paying dividends once again on the ropes.

He unleashed a barrage of shots as the crowd tried to rally Chisora who desperately covered up on the ropes.

Parker's power seemed to cause serious bother for Chisora who continued to be stunned plodding and weaving away from the onslaught.

A superb and measured approach from Parker faded later in the round with Chisora trying to engage once again despite the punishment earlier on.

Chisora threw some powerful combinations of his own in a superb all-action round in Manchester.

Another excellent round for the slick and powerful looking Parker.

Chisora started by popping out a left jab before going into the ropes and working his opponent's body with some more aggressive work.

The crowd respond as the rugged heavyweight went to work and started to close the gap between the pair.

A looping overhand right threatened to land from Chisora but the pair went to work on each other in an explosive exchange approaching the second half of the round.

Some back and forth action proceeded with Parker landing first before Chisora quickly responded with a booming combination.

Parker continued to try and use his sharp hands to catch Chisora as he approached, with the Briton focused on beating the body.

A tremendous right hand got through against Chisora who looked to be taking huge damage with just seconds left on the clock.

He survived despite being visibly rocked by the powerful overhand right of the New Zealander.

The crowd backed the home man from the start as Parker tried to take the centre of the ring early on after his 10lb weight hike.

Some neat work on the retreat from Parker as Chisora tried to jab to the body and follow up with head work.

A superb right hand landed from Parker despite Chisora's stiff defence taking it well with the sound of the impact felt around the arena.

Sadjo landed another booming right hand that brought about gasps from the previously raucous home crowd.

Cullen started better in the round mixing up his work on the back foot as he managed the aggression of his French opponent.

But Sadjo refused to be patient continuing to dig Cullen into the body before switching up to target the cut eye.

Sadjo faced warning for hitting Cullen on the back of the head with the threat of a deducted point looming.

The Frenchman has landed the most power punches since the start of the bout but Cullen then responds with some neat body work towards the end of the round.

Cullen's cut continued to bleed which may have resulted from a clash of heads.

Sadjo continued his powerful aggression careering forward while digging away at the body.

Cullen is being urged by his corner to keep the distance ro prevent Sadjo from landing his powerful blows.

Cullen tried to get on the front foot in the early stages of the second pushing his opponent on to the ropes and whipping some huge shots into Sadjo's body.

Cullen's left eye started to be bloodied by the work in a tremendous back-and-forth contest.

Sadjo continued to fire away big shots up close using his head to bore his way into attacks.

Cullen tried to force the pace towards the end of the round but Sadjo closed up and saw his way through.

Sadjo started at a tremendous pace throwing tremendous leather in the opening stages while Cullen started to try and keep his opponent at bay.

The Frenchman landed a neat left hook which appeared to rock Cullen who checked his eye briefly for damage.

Cullen continued to sit behind the jab trying to keep his opponent at bay, before an overhand right wildly swinging sent him off-balance to the canvas.

A sensational opening pace set by both men with Sadjo landing a tremendous combination towards the final bell.
