The easy 50p hack to get the windows sparkling during a spring clean and the difference it makes it amazing...

A CLEANING whizz has shared a simple hack for getting your windows sparkling, and people are hailing it as "the best".

Maddy Kate shared the hack via a video posted to her TikTok channel @maddykate01.

She often uses the account to share cleaning tips and tricks.

Her videos are very popular with social media users and she has amassed 116,000 followers on the video sharing platform.

"I couldn't believe how dirty my window was when the sun started shining through", Maddy said.

"So here's how I made it sparkle in under 10 minutes".

To clean the outside of her windows, Maddy used a Dishmatic fillable sponge on a stick with washing up liquid.

She scrubbed the windows with the stick and then poured a jug of water over the window to rub the soap off.

Washing up liquid is extremely cheap, and can be purchased for as little as 50p from the supermarket.

She then used a squeegee to dry her window out.

"I tried to do the fancy technique to avoid getting lines but I just made a mess", she said.

For the insides of the windows, Maddy used the Pink Stuff window cleaner, which can be purchased from the supermarket for around £1.50.

"A pro tip I've learned is to that if you do lines instead of circles you wont' have horrible swirls on the windows".

After Maddy had finished her cleaning, her windows were clear and sparkling.

"Just look what a difference it makes", she said.

"I can finally see outside".

"I am shocked by the before and after", she added.

Maddy's video has clearly left many impressed as it has racked up over 900, 000 views.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.
