Is Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Yes, Daredevil does make a cameo in No Way Home as lawyer Matt Murdock.

When Spider-Man’s identity gets revealed to the world, Peter Parker gets hounded by the press, police, and civilians and he decides to lawyer-up in order to protect himself.

After being questioned by the Department of Damage Control, a later scene shows Peter, Aunt May, and Happy sitting at a table with none other than Matt Murdock himself.

Murdock explains to Peter that no charges are being held against him and proceeds to show off his reflexes in front of Peter when a brick is thrown through the window – which momentarily prompts him to question Matt’s credentials. “I’m a really good lawyer,” Murdock replies.

Who plays Matt Murdock?

Matt Murdock is played by Charlie Cox, who reprised his role as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen for No Way Home.

Cox first appeared as the blind vigilante in Netflix’s 2015 Daredevil series, where he played alongside Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle (The Punisher), and more.

The actor’s appearance in No Way Home was heavily speculated ahead of the film’s release, and a late leak even revealed the scene that the character appeared in with accuracy.

What does this mean for the character’s future in the MCU?

The inclusion of Cox’s Daredevil in No Way Home means that the character is now canon within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Similarly, D’Onofrio’s Kingpin was also recently welcomed into the MCU by way of his introduction in the Hawkeye series on Disney +.

Now that both characters have entered Phase 4, fans should expect them to cross paths once again on a more cinematic scale with others assuredly involved.
