Davina McCall adds unusual detail to glam The Masked Singer outfit after suffering painful injury

Davina McCall has floored fans with her latest look for The Masked Singer.

The TV judge wowed as she stepped out for Movie Week on the ITV guessing game in a slinky midnight blue dress.

Davina, 54, struck a pose in the gorgeous split-to-the-thigh gown in a backstage photo shared on her social media.

Instead of heels she added an unusual detail with chunky white trainers and ankle socks., and fans rushed to tell her that she pulled off the look.

treviwomen exclaimed: "Absolutely love the trainers!!!!"

And funkyfxxker praised: "Sensible footwear!!!"

Crediting the styling team behind the look Davina joked with laughing emojis: "Swollen ankle and foot due to big fall the day before."

Her followers worked out that she wore the trainers on the pre-recorded show following a painful foot injury.

Davina McCall gave fans a trigger back in November while sharing a picture of her foot, but insisted she was on the mend.

She suffered swelling around her ankle and heavy bruising across her toes after tripping on a root during a dog walk.

Davina also recently took to Instagram to get real with fans about her relationship with sugar.

The former Big Brother presenter said she was cutting out refined sugar, fruit and honey for the first couple of weeks in November to try and get herself off sugar again.

"I've massively fallen off the sugar-free wagon and it's ugly," she said.

And she explained: "Sugar makes me bloated, I feel toxic, and it send my body into turmoil and here is where I stop.

"Like an addict about to go into treatment, yesterday I ate 5 gold bars … wtf! It ends today."
