Davina McCall looks very different with dramatic hair transformation ...
TV star Maya Jama is set to join the latest series of The Masked Singer alongside a noticeably changed Davina McCall, who sports a stylish blonde look. The Love Island presenter, replacing Rita Ora, will be part of an all-star lineup including Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, with Joel Dommett as host.
However, Davina's new hair colour has been revealed to be a wig. Her new hairstyle was in place months before the presenter underwent surgery for a brain tumour, according to the Mirror.
In recent weeks, following surgery, Davina has been spotted outdoors while recovering from the operation. She participated in a charity event at All Saints Church in Fulham in support of neurosurgeon Kevin O'Neill's Brain Tumour Research Campaign.
During the event, she expressed her concern for those suffering from brain tumours. "I know lots of you here are on your own brain tumour journey and many of you have lost loved ones- I lost my sister to a brain tumour in 2012 and my ex father in law a year ago."
Since its premiere in January 2020, The Masked Singer has drawn over 37 million viewers and promises an exciting new lineup of popular artists behind masks, similar to previous participants such as Dionne Warwick, Richie Sambora, and Joss Stone. The series will witness celebrities serenading in disguise, dropping clues as the panel, which now includes new addition Maya, tries to uncover who's singing, reports Leicestershire Live.
Upon joining the show alongside Davina, Jonathan, and Mo, Maya expressed her excitement: "I'm such a Masked Singer fan, so joining the panel alongside Davina, Jonathan, and Mo is going to be so much fun."
I can't wait to figure out who's underneath all those incredible costumes, vibe to their performances, and get front-row seats to the unmaskings. .
Head of Entertainment and Daytime Commissioning at ITV, Katie Rawcliffe, has promised an explosive start to 2025 with the return of "The Masked Singer."
She went on to add: The Masked Singer is back and promises to kick off 2025 with a bang. TV's favourite guessing game welcomes the sensational Maya Jama who will be joining our expert detectives, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan all alongside Joel Dommett.
