When Mushroom took to the stage she sang a stunning rendition of There Are Worse Things I Could Do from the musical Grease which dazzled the judging panel.
Following the stellar performance judge, Davina guessed the woman behind the mask could be former cruise ship singer and Loose Women star Jane McDonald.
The Mushroom dropped a clue that she was from Wakefield which is the Yorkshire town Jane was born in.
Following the clue, fans took to Twitter as they were convinced Davina was correct with @pwflia commenting: "I feel like Mushroom is Jane McDonald, given by the clues she said about getting up early so I thought about Loose Women, then about travelling so I thought the cruise show thing, yeah I think it's Jane McDonald. #TheMaskedSinger"
