It's a new type of currency that players will need plenty of if they want to get copies of the 12 returning weapons in Destiny 2. If you're itching to get as many god rolls as you can, here's what we know so far about farming Trophies of Bravery.
How to Get Trophies of Bravery in Destiny 2
As of writing, the only way to earn Trophies of Bravery is to participate in playlist activities, including Destiny 2's new Onslaught mode, where the Trophy of Bravery drop rate is significantly higher. Opening the chest at the end of every 10th wave often yields a few trophies, though these chests aren't the only ways to earn them.
Lord Shaxx and his Redjack assistant Arcite-99 offer bounties that can accelerate your grind. Shaxx in particular functions as Onslaught's dedicated vendor when he's in the Hall of Champions, and he'll offer tons of rewards for every reputation milestone you hit. You can get up to 100 Trophies of Bravery from Shaxx, and that doesn't include any other trophies you may have acquired along the way.
While not specifically listed, bounties from Shaxx and Arcite-99 also reward one Trophy of Bravery. You also get reputation points and whole BRAVE engrams respectively. Ideally, you should always take whatever bounties are available before you set off.

Destiny 2 is getting three Prismatic subclasses with The Final Shape expansion, and they're challenging the game's status quo.The amount of trophies you earn per match of Onslaught varies wildly. End-of-round chests give anywhere between 3 and 10 trophies. Enemies can randomly drop trophies on death as well. If you want to get the most Trophies of Bravery, your best bet is to run the 50-wave version of Onslaught. Trophies of Bravery are used to open the many chests inside the Hall of Champions, including the BRAVE chest near Lord Shaxx. These chests will reward you with reprised versions of some of the best guns in the game, including those that were previously made unobtainable in Destiny 2. These Brave Arsenal weapons feature some of the best perk combos in weapons with solid stat packages right from the get-go, making them extremely valuable for veterans and new players alike.
