Doja Cat Basically Wore SeeThrough Nude Shapewear to the Met
Genuinely LIVING for her Met Gala looks.

Really didn’t think Doja Cat could possibly top dressing up as an actual cat at last year’s Met Gala and giving an interview entirely in meows, but...she did that!

BTW!

We’ll get to her multiple incredible looks from the carpet in a sec, but let’s take a moment for Doja’s 2024 Met Gala after-party vibe, which consisted of what looks to be a sheer shapewear-inspired look from Vetements.

Love this—especially when you consider the story she was telling on the red carpet last night, which appeared to have a ~getting ready~ theme. Doja kicked things off by showing up to the Met in a towel and some diamonds, with dramatic makeup made to look like running mascara:

She then changed into a dripping wet Vetements T-shirt:

Doja spoke about her look to Emma Chamberlain on the carpet and said, “Hopefully, you have a towel, my hand is soaking wet in hair gel. It’s all hair gel, well water and hair gel, yeah. When I’m cold it’s horrible.”

When it came to her outfit, the musician said, “I think you just go in the opposite direction that you went in before, right? So I did all the prosthetics for the last one, and I had a very heavy dress with lots of beading and stuff like that. We just pulled all the way into the opposite direction. I think that’s what made it exciting.”

“Today, I kinda just feel like me but in a very sexy sexy way,” Doja noted, adding that she and the Vetements team “wanted to go with a wet T-shirt because cotton is the most used flower and we thought that would be very poetic without it being on the nose. And then also the T-shirt is a classic piece of clothing. It’s timeless. It’s the most timeless piece of clothing.”
