After the titanic battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen during the 2021 Formula 1 campaign, season 4 of Netflix’s Drive to Survive promises to be a must-watch for motorsport fans.

Naturally, die-hard F1 fans – who are not watching live testing from Bahrain – will undoubtedly be tuning into Netflix to watch the new episodes as soon as they arrive.

But just when is the release time of Drive to Survive and what can fans expect in the new batch of episodes?

Drive to Survive season 4 release date and time

Season 4 of Drive to Survive season 4 will be released on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at midnight Pacific Time in the US.

Like most Netflix releases, the new season will be released at the same time around the world, which translates to:

• 12am PT in the US
• 3am ET in the US
• 8am GMT in the UK
• 9am CET in Europe
• 1:30pm IST in India
• 7pm AEDT in Sydney, Australia

So while fans in the US could be in for a very late night, viewers in Australia can enjoy the new episodes in the evening.

How many episodes are in season 4?

Drive to Survive’s fourth instalment will continue the show’s tradition by consisting of 10 episodes.

The episode total should be no surprise to veteran fans as each of the past three seasons have all featured 10 chapters as well.

In previous seasons, episodes have been around 40 minutes in length meaning that fans should have roughly 400 minutes (or six hours and 40 minutes) of new content to delve into.

8. Dances With Wolff | Mercedes weigh up changing their driver line-up with George Russell eying Valtteri Bottas’s seat.
9. Gloves Are Off | The championship fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen hots up
