Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Remain Couple Goals at the Oscars

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski showed up at the Oscars (Emily is nominated for Oppenheimer, which has an actual boatload of nominations tonight) looking chic per usual, and if you’re here to stare at photos of them looking cute/mutually obsessed, hello, hi.

Emily wore a shimmering ivory floor-length Schiaparelli gown to the Oscars, complete with an outline roughly where a pair of underwear would go, while John wore...IDK, a suit of some kind. He looks good, don’t get me wrong! But back to Emily:

Anyway, these two have had a somewhat eventful awards season thus far, by which I mean lip readers had an absolute field day trying to decipher what they said to each other on the Golden Globes red carpet back in January.

In case you missed this whole thing, which, wouldn’t blame you if you did, fans were briefly (and incorrectly) convinced that John said he wanted a divorce. Which, lol, no. He was commenting on the weather. Here’s the footage in question:

And according to TikTok lip reader @ninacelested, Emily said, “It’s chilly here, right?” which prompted John to reply, “Can’t wait till we’re indoors. It’s windy.”

People on the internet really are just making stuff up these days! So yeah, now you can understand why Taylor Swift showed up to the Grammy awards with a fan to cover her mouth. I’m honestly surprised Emily didn’t take a play out of that book for her red carpet walk tonight.
