Erling Haaland closed the gap on Mohamed Salah for the highest goal contributions in the Premier League this season after his late strike in the Manchester derby, but he's still three behind the league's best.
The Norwegian spared a few of his blushes with the goal after inexplicably missing from point-blank range at the end of the first half against Manchester United.
Haaland took his combined tally in the league to 23, one behind Salah, who was forced to miss Liverpool's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest with injury. The Egyptian boasts a record of 15 goals and nine assists in his 21 league games this season.
However, his impressive feat was bettered this weekend as an England striker ascended to the top of the standings as one of six Three Lions stars represented in the list.
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins bagged a brace in a 3-2 win over Luton that took him two clear of Salah in the combined the list, while also propelling him ahead of the Egyptian in the goal scoring charts.

Ollie Watkins leads the way with the highest goal contributions in the Premier League this season
Watkins is by far enjoying his most productive top-flight campaign, having already bested his record seasons for goals and assists, still with 11 games left to play. He is currently just shy of averaging a goal contribution every game.
Similarly impressive is the form shown by Bukayo Saka after the winter break. The 22-year-old has seven goals in his last five league games and ranks fourth in the goal contributions list with 20.
The top-five is rounded out by Tottenham skipper Son Heung-Min with 19 after scoring in the weekend's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace - his first since returning from the Asian Cup last month.
Four players are tied in 10th place this season, with three making strong cases to be included in Gareth Southgate's squad for the European Championship this summer.
Cole Palmer has been a rare bright spark in Chelsea's miserable season and has 17 goals and assists to his name. As does West Ham star man Jarrod Bowen, Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke and Liverpool's irrepressible Darwin Nunez.

Phil Foden took his goal scoring tally to 18 in all competition with a stunning brace against the Red Devils at the Etihad
The Uruguayan came off the bench to grab a 99th-minute winner for Jurgen Klopp's side that took his tally for goals to 10, one better than his managed in the entirety of his first campaign.
One ahead of that quartet is Phil Foden, who produced another startling performance in City's dominant derby display against Erik ten Hag's side. The 23-year-old's brace to him to 18 goals in all competitions this season.
