Malmö 2024: The full programme of events hosted by the city

Malmö 2024 The full programme of events hosted by the city
With just one month left until things really start getting exciting, the city of Malmö has presented its entire hosting programme.

Nevergreens are Sweden's soulful voices who take fans on their most absurd musical journeys. Singer Svante Lodén and pianist Erik Hjärpe will take on the Eurovision Song Contest song book. On the night, they will listen to song intros and guess how the rest of the song goes – with the audience helping to shape the songs.

Funkis Festival goes to Eurovision

For the first time, the Funkis Festival was held in Malmö in 2024. In the competition, 12 artists competed, and now visitors will get the chance to see them again. Everything from pop to metal and even some dansbands.

ABBA Music on Fire

Together with the Malmö Fire Brigade Orchestra, the city will celebrate one of the world's most beloved music groups of all time and celebrate 50 years since ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.

Schlagerbaren xl – Eurovision edition

Schlagerbaren's Jonas Hedqvist and Antonina Nutshell from Drag Race Sweden invite you to an evening of 100% schlager. There will be performances, there will be DJs, there will be competitions, and there will be surprises!

Over the Water Show Choir

Over The Water Show Choir brings its lively set of innovative versions of Eurovision classics to Malmö. They have sung with Sam Ryder, performed for Mae Muller, and appeared on BBC TV. Loreen loves them too, apparently!

Eurovision Village Drag Night

On one late night during the week, Malmö will be treated to a specially composed drag show where we will be visited by some of the world's most beloved drag queens – Elecktra (Sweden) shares the stage with Baga Chipz (UK), DQ (Denmark) and Miss Tobi (Sweden).

The full programme is available to scroll through at malmo.se/esc2024, and it already lists all of the dates and times for every event.

On top of the guest performers already announced, you'll also be able to watch some of the artists of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest take the stage in Eurovision Village and perform for attendees. On 6 and 7 May from 19:00 to 20:00 and on 8 and 9 May from 15:00 to 16:00, get down to the Euphoria stage to see your 2024 faves. Acts will be confirmed closer to the time.

In the weeks leading up to the Live Shows of the Eurovision Song Contest, we'll be continuously updating our Village & Euroclub page. Keep checking back for more happenings that we'll be highlighting.
