Chelsea vs Leicester City LIVE!

Frank Lampard was in charge last season as Chelsea were runners-up to Arsenal, though the Blues have the chance to right those wrongs this time around - though they will also have one eye on a Champions League Final against Manchester City as well as a tense race for a Premier League top-four finish.

Leicester are also locked in the battle for Champions League qualification and, in one of those curious quirks of the football calendar, face Chelsea again in London on Tuesday in a key League fixture.

For now, at least, both clubs can put their other targets to one side and focus on this weekend’s Cup final at Wembley. While Tuchel has overachieved so far at Stamford Bridge, success at Chelsea is measured in trophies - and even those are often not enough to save managers from the sack.

As for Leicester, the Foxes remain on course for the top four, and silverware would represent a fine season for Rodgers as the club looks to build for the future.

Mason Mount has said he wants to follow in the footsteps of Chelsea legends like Frank Lampard, John Terry and Didier Drogba by winning major trophies at Stamford Bridge.

Mount, who has been at Chelsea since he was six, hopes to herald a new era of success for the club today and said: "We want to win trophies.

“I looked at a lot of players - the legends from Chelsea - when I was at the academy and witnessed the first team winning trophies and major trophies. I wanted to follow in their footsteps.

“Players like Lampard, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole, Petr Cech... All of them really. They have won major trophies and played so many times for the club.”

At the age of 34, Jamie Vardy will become the first player in the history of the FA Cup to have featured in every stage of the competition -— from the five preliminary rounds before the first-round proper to the final -— when he steps out to face Chelsea.

But Vardy has revealed this week that in 2013, after an indifferent first season at Leicester, that had considered an offer to work as a rep in Ibiza.

"It felt a good idea at the time," Vardy said. "It felt a really good idea. Thank God I didn’t.”

Thomas Tuchel wants his Chelsea stars to stay calm at Wembley today - and the German has revealed this week that he uses meditation to relax as part of his own personal pre-match routine.

"Usually I wake up early, do some sports and some meditation," said Tuchel. "Just 20 minutes, eyes closed, breathe in, breathe out.

"Usually I fly 20 or 30 centimetres over the bed, I glide through the room! No, it's nothing special. It's breathing, and trying hard to do nothing.

"Some years ago, between [managing] Mainz and Dortmund, I started this [routine] and it was a nice experience. Sometimes I try to run after [evening] matches, to get the energy out and get a better sleep.

"I have my ups and downs — sometimes I'm very disciplined, sometimes not. But I think it's normal to be excited, and nervous."
