Statement: FA Cup changes

AFC Wimbledon condemn the unilateral decision taken by The FA and the Premier League to change the format of the FA Cup.

There was no consultation with clubs lower in the football pyramid, nor with fans.

It is a source for major concern and we condemn the changes and process wholeheartedly.

We urge The FA to pause the plans and conduct a thorough game-wide consultation.
