Albion unveil Fan Engagement Plan

The club are pleased to present their Fan Engagement Plan and report for the 2024/25 season.
Brighton and Hove Albion are committed to listening to and engaging with supporters and encouraging feedback.
This report is the first of its kind and details the full extent of fan engagement throughout the 2023/24 season including multiple forums, fan meet-ups, supporters club meetings, surveys and Q&As.
The report also details the work of the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) including case studies of collaborative work, an assessment of the FAB so far and its plans for the future.
For the 2024/25 season the Fan Advisory Board are committed to directly engage directly with senior representatives of the club on important supporter-related issues. The FAB promotes diversity, inclusion, ethics and social responsibility and acts as a sounding board on club and supporter-related matters.
For the 2024/25 season the following new initiatives will be in place.
- FAB-led working groups will be introduced across areas such as matchday atmosphere and the WSL match experience.
- A new website and app will be launched.
- A new external fan zone will open at the Amex
- The club will strengthen its collaboration with the newly formed Disabled Supporters Association (DSA).
Back in 2022 we began a process to recruit a Fan Advisory Board.
We now have 12 FAB members covering our corporate 1901 members, season ticket holders, WSL season ticket holders and MyAlbion+ members. It is chaired by Clive Steed and the FAB meet with club representatives three times a season, with the chair then meeting the board once a season and the NBLO (nominated board level official) monthly.
Jenny Gower, Head of Ticketing & Supporter Services, is the NBLO and is also a member of the club’s executive committee responsible for fan engagement and the running of the FAB. Sarah Gould, the club’s EDI Manager, also attends all meetings.
Jenny said, “The report highlights the incredible work which has been done across the club from our chairman Tony Bloom, chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber down. It also details our plans to make our fan engagement even better in the future and I would urge all Albion fans to read it.”
