Maked Singer fans all have the same complaint over ‘impossible’ Gloria Hunniford clue...

VIEWERS of The Masked Singer who did not guess Gloria Hunniford was Snow Leopard complained about the 'impossible' clue.

The broadcaster, 81, disguised herself as a Snow Leopard and belted out Peggy Lee's Big Spender on Sunday's episode.

The classic track, coupled with the clue "my word is my bond", had Davina McCall and Rita Ora convinced it was a Bond actress, with them wrongly guessing Jane Seymour and Judi Dench, respectively.

Mo Gilligan guessed Shirley Bassey for the same reason, but a later clue was a dead giveaway for fans who knew this obscure trivia, but for others it was 'impossible' to crack.

Snow Leopard gave a clue after her performance that she 'doesn't like water', with the veteran broadcaster later revealing it's because she can't swim.

But viewers were enraged because it was wasn't a well known fact.

"How we supposed to know Gloria Hunniford can't swim," raged one viewer on Twitter.

Another added: "'I can’t swim'. How the b***dy hell am I supposed to know Gloria Hunniford cant swim??? How is that a clue?"

A third complained: "Clues are pointless, how are we meant to know gloria cant swim?"

Some viewers guessed along the same lines as the judges, however, many did correctly name Gloria as the character.

Judge Jonathan Ross hit the nail on the head, successfully deducing Gloria's radio background.

As she belted out the track as herself, Gloria looked to be having a great time, and the judges were up on their feet.

The star previously had a singing career, releasing two albums in the 70s and performing at The Royal Variety Performance in 1985.

Tonight she narrowly lost out to Bagpipes, who the judges think is a former tennis pro, and Rockhopper, who some think is a Pussycat Doll.

Gloria's unmasking comes a day after M People singer Heather Small, 56, was revealed as Chandelier.
