Gogglebox fans 'smitten' as Pete introduces baby son to pet corgi

Gogglebox viewers said they were "in love" with a rarely seen member of the Sandiford family as they joined Sophie and Pete for the latest episode.

Pete and Sophie quickly became favourites after wining fans over with their hilarious quips when they joined the popular Channel 4 show in 2017. The brother and sister are close friends as well as being siblings, and are believed to be close together in age.

The two actually have another brother and sister, Harry and Lucy, but they've never been seen on screen. It's usually just Pete and Sophie on either side of their television.

However, this week's instalment showed Pete bring his son Jimmy into the room. He showed Jimmy to their corgi, Elvis.

Pete's wife Paige gave birth to Jimmy last year, and some fans were surprised at how big he already is.

Taking to Twitter, Claire Webb said: "Pete's baby though [heart eyes emoji] and Colin of course!"

Caryn said: "Nah I'm smitten with that baby can he be a permanent edition please #Gogglebox [sic]." Mitchell Webb said: "Omg Pete's baby is adorable." Sara said: "Blimey! Pete's baby is almost as big as him."
