BBC Graham Norton Show: Who is Golda Rosheuvel?

Appearing on the famous orange sofa on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, February, 11 is Bridgerton star Golda Rosheuvel.

You may recognise Golda from her role in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton where she played the demanding and quick-tempered Queen Charlotte.

Golda appeared as Queen Charlotte in most episodes of the show, as she loves keeping up with the gossip and scandals in the Ton.

The 52-year-old actress has also worked extensively on stage from Romeo and Juliet to Jesus Christ Superstar. One of her biggest on-stage roles was playing the lesbian Othello in Othello in 2018.

The star has also worked in TV appearing in many recognisable shows including The Bill, BBC medical drama Casualty, BBC soap EastEnders, Death in Paradise, and much more.

Most recently she starred in the film Dune, based on the Frank Herbert novel, starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya.

Golda was born in Guyana and moved to England when she was five years old and grew up in London. Her partner is writer Shireen Mula.

Golda is a guest on The Graham Norton Show on BBC One at 10.35pm on Friday, February, 11.
