Gregg Wallace explains his unique Saturday routine that starts at 5am
Gregg Wallace Masterchef judge and Inside the Factory presenter Gregg Wallace has left fans in awe, if a little confused, sharing his weekend routine. The 59-year-old presenter set out what he does with his weekends in a column for The Telegraph.
Gregg said he starts his Saturday with a 5am wake-up followed by an hour of reading. After a coffee, and checking how many people have joined his health platform, he gets to the gym 30 minutes before they officially open for a private swim and sauna.
Gregg then hits the treadmill for a 'no sweat' workout which includes 50,000 steps a week.
He said: "I’m now 12 stone [having lost five stone] and I have less than 18 per cent body fat and a six-pack, but I have a belly that bloats. I guess we all have our imperfections."
Gregg then meets his PA at a Harvester for breakfast – bacon, sausage and fried egg - to discuss his health and well-being podcast, A Piece of Cake.
Gregg said: "I love chatting to the experts, but I’m quite the expert too, having been journalling, manifesting, goal-setting and reading self-help books for years."
90-minutes later he has lunch with wife Anna and four-year-old son, Sid at home. After lunch he makes sure to set aside 90 minutes for quality time with Sid, then two hours in his office playing Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.
After dinner, made by Anna, he goes to bed at 8pm and gets to sleep by 9pm.
