A BUSY Greggs branch inside a Scottish shopping centre is set to close within weeks.
The much-loved bakery in Ocean Terminal, in Edinburgh, is expected to pull the shutters down for the final time in May.

And locals have warned that it is "very concerning" as it becomes the latest in a wave of closures.
The popular shopping centre has taken a hit in recent weeks after several shops recently shut on the ground floor, according to Edinburgh Evening News.
The stores were closed to clear the way for a huge gaming and leisure venue which is set to open sometime in 2024.
Level X, which is an immersive gaming experience, is taking over a total of nine units on the centre's ground floor.

And it will be located across from the entrance of the shopping centre.
Bosses confirmed to the Scottish Sun that the Greggs branch is closing to be transformed into a disabled toilet for Level X.
They added that all members of staff will be relocated to other Greggs branches around the city.
But the workers have not been impressed with the closure and branded it a "huge loss" for Ocean Terminal.

One worker told Edinburgh Evening News: "It's a huge blow to the centre to lose the Greggs.
"It seems a shame because it's always busy and well used, plus there's hardly any eateries left in the centre now."
The concerns come amid a huge £250million revamp of Ocean Terminal which is seeing the number of shops, outlets and eateries decline.
The new Level X, which has bowling, mini golf, VR arenas and arcade games from around the world, is part of that redevelopment.
But bosses at Greggs are also leaving a door open for a potential turn to the shopping centre if the opportunity could arise in the later plans for the development.
The second phase of it was approved by Edinburgh City Council earlier this year on January 10.

But the redevelopment has left locals worried about the future of shops and businesses.
Lothians MSP Foysol Choudhury said: "I've heard concerns from local business owners about poor footfall at Ocean Terminal and uncertainty over the future. The removal of Greggs on top of the M&S will land another blow.

Details of Phase 2 of the redevleopment
PLANS were submitted to the local council that show the shopping centre being revamped as part of the regeneration of Leith waterfront.
Phase Two includes the centre being transformed into a 'pedestrian-centric' neighbourhood.
It is expected to have around 530 new homes, a new supermarket, a medical centre and a community space.
Works involving the part-demolition of the shopping centre's car park and Debenhams store began in 2023.
The bridge connecting the Royal Yacht Britannia to the centre is also to be demolished with works also underway.
The owners of Ocean Terminal, Ambassador Investment Management, praised Phase Two and said it was a significant milestone.
"The future for Ocean Terminal is very concerning for businesses and the local community - many are unsure about the plans for the future and how they will be supported in the meantime, before the new plans are delivered.
"Failing to support existing shops before the new development is fully complete will only lead to challenges for businesses and a barren shopping centre, which will fail local residents' needs. I'll continue to support businesses and communities in getting their voice heard."
