The former This Morning presenter shared the story of a toilet clean-up fiasco on The Graham Norton Show, where she was joined by music icon Sir Elton John.

The 43-year-old revealed that after watching Elton John’s headline performance at Glastonbury 2024, she found herself in the festival’s infamous, long toilet queues.

When she finally entered a cubicle, she was met with a grim sight.

Holly said: ‘I was there and was having the time of my life. You [Elton] were incredible. Everyone knew you were going to be amazing but honestly it was magic.

'Everyone was singing and it was like the crowd was moving as one, I’d never seen anything like it.’

She added: ‘Elton was the highlight, but then everyone moved towards the loos. After his set, the loos were chaos. It was disgusting, but when you’ve got to go you’ve got to go.

'I was standing on the loo – you would not want to sit down – and I thought, "Oh my god, when I come out of here, whoever comes in next will think that was me so I can’t leave that."

'I’ve always got a bag of wet wipes on me, so I cleaned that loo until it was spotless. It was perfect. I was back down to earth with a bump after Elton.’

Meanwhile, Elton John reflected on his experience of performing at the festival for the first time, as part of his farewell tour.

Speaking to Mr Norton, the I'm Still Standing singer, 77, admitted: ‘I had never been and was resistant to playing in case I didn’t go down very well, but I was so moved.

‘I don’t think I have been as happy in my whole life. It was one of the greatest days of my life and it confirmed that it couldn’t get any better.”

Holly had previously attended Glastonbury the year before in 2023 and shared a glimpse of her experience on Instagram.

The presenter posted images from her time at the festival, including one where she posed in a white broderie anglaise dress and cowboy-style hat.

In another, she was seen enjoying the music with her husband, Dan Baldwin, 50, in a rare public display of affection.

She made headlines last year for missing an episode of This Morning due to the festival.

Away from music, Holly is stepping into new territory with Celebrity Bear Hunt, a physically demanding survival series set in the Costa Rican jungle.

The show features a star-studded cast, including Spice Girls’ Mel B, Strictly’s Shirley Ballas, and The Saturdays’ Una Healy.

Contestants must endure gruelling challenges, with the weakest facing a tense elimination round in which Grylls himself hunts them down.

The series has already made headlines, with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen reportedly nearly drowning in a freak accident, and Lottie Moss emotionally opening up about her struggles with substance abuse and depression.
