Presenter and singer were first contestants to be voted for by the public.

Richard Madeley and Frankie Bridge faced the Turrets of Terror trial as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returned to our screens.

The ITV competition series began on Sunday (21 November) night, with a new group of contestants competing to be named series champion. You can find out more about the cast here.

In the series premiere, the camp were split into teams, with Kadeena Cox, Matty Lee, Louise Minchin and Snoochie Shy on the red team, while David Ginola, Arlene Phillips, Naughty Boy and Danny Miller making up the yellows.

After the reds won all their challenges, they were introduced to The Saturdays singer Bridge and Good Morning Britain presenter Madeley, who it was revealed had been voted to take part in the final challenge by the public.

As they were currently leading the competition, the red team picked first and chose Bridge to represent them.

The challenge, called the Turrets of Terror, saw the pair compete in three rounds to unlock keys while covered in insects.

Bridge and Madeley were initially neck and neck, but the singer quickly gained ground on her competitor and was named champion, winning her team the key to the castle.
