American, Russian, and Belarusian ISS Crew Return to Earth
Astronaut Loral O’Hara, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, and Belarus spaceflight participant Marina Vasilevskaya landed safely back on Earth near Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, early on Saturday, April 6, NASA said.
Footage released by NASA shows the trio touching down at 12:17 pm local time on Saturday. O’Hara, Novitskiy, and Vasilevskaya had left the International Space Station shortly before midnight on Friday EDT, NASA said.
O’Hara launched on September 15, 2023, and spent a total of 204 days in space as part of her first spaceflight, completing approximately 3,264 orbits of the Earth. Credit: NASA via Storyful
