Jay Blades' wife, Lisa, has confirmed the couple's separation in a heartfelt statement, revealing her deep emotional distress. She disclosed the split from The Repair Shop host just days after he announced a hiatus from social media due to his uncle's tragic murder.

In an early morning post, Lisa expressed her feelings: "I don't know how to say this because it's still really raw."

As detailed by The Sun, she elaborated: "I probably should be really angry but I'm just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don't think I've ever cried so much."

The 44 year old fitness expert shared further: "I will admit I'm crying as I type this as I can't believe this is even real. I hope you don't mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I'm currently in a spare room with a few essentials. I don't know what else to say. All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie x."

Jay, aged 54, married Lisa in a serene beach ceremony in Barbados in November 2022, surrounded by a small circle of 15 guests. At the time, Blades described their wedding day as "perfect" to Hello magazine, reports OK!.

In his interview with Hello, he reminisced: "One word sums up the day: perfect. We had our closest family there, the weather held out and everything worked out so well."

Going further, he disclosed that he had "tunnel vision" as he spotted Lisa in her breathtaking bridal gown. They swapped vows and notably, exchanged rings created by The Repair Shop's jewellery maestro, Richard Talman - both rings bore the other's birthstones.

Lisa's remarks come merely days after Jay declared his hiatus from social media due to the funeral of his uncle, whom he revealed was "murdered a few weeks ago". Communicating this shocking detail through his Instagram profile, Jay stated: "So what I'm intending on doing is this... I'm coming off social media for a bit, and I'll be back in a bit. Going to go and get some therapy and just chill out. Yeah, 'cause when things happen, sometimes you really need to take stock and just relax. So, I'll be back soon."

Recently, on her professional Instagram account (@thewkoutofficial) where she advertises her fitness plans, Lisa presented a captivating series of images showing her and Jay enjoying an evening stroll on a beach, suggesting nothing amiss. Moreover, on Jay's birthday in February, she uploaded a nostalgic wedding snapshot with the loving caption: "Happy Birthday Husband 54 Years Young. I Love you."
