Get ready to curtsy, because Jennifer Lopez just threw the most extravagant Bridgerton-themed birthday party, and it's the talk of the Ton!

The pop icon and actress celebrated her 55th birthday in true J-Lo style, sharing dazzling video clips and photos that show her reigning supreme on a throne.

The Instagram post began with a cheeky nod to the Netflix hit series, echoing the words of the infamous gossip writer Lady Whistledown: "Dearest Gentle Reader…" before adding: "a splendid evening was had by all."

And splendid it was! The montage kicked off with a horse and carriage, setting the scene for a night of Regency-era glam.

In true Bridgerton fashion, footmen in period attire wheeled in a grand throne-like chair to a stage where violinists serenaded the guests with modern-style classical music.

The party guests, dressed in 19th-century chic—think dashing coats, waistcoats, breeches, and elegant frocks—danced the night away in a cotillion courtly sequence.

Our queen of the night, J-Lo, dazzled in an embroidered grey gown and gold high heels, looking every inch the regal lady as she perched on her throne.

But, of course, she couldn't just stick to one outfit. Lopez later changed into a stunning green dress, serenading her guests and blowing out the candles on her magnificent tiered birthday cake.

The birthday bash was filled with laughter, music, and royal vibes, but one notable figure was absent from the clips: her husband, Ben Affleck.

The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022 after rekindling their romance, have been the subject of swirling rumours about marital troubles.

Affleck's absence did little to quell the gossip, but J-Lo seemed unfazed, soaking up the love from her friends and fans.

Lopez later took to Instagram to express her gratitude, posting a heartfelt message to her adoring fans: "I've been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world.

"I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears, and when I saw the billboard in Times Square, I was completely overwhelmed. I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world."

She continued: "I want you to know on my birthday that YOU are my biggest gift. Besides my family and friends, you have always been there for me in the good times and in the tough times. I can always count on you.

"And I want you to know that you can always count on me. Thank you for your caring, your understanding, your loyalty and most importantly your love."

Despite the lavish celebration, rumours of a potential split from Affleck have been buzzing.

J-Lo recently cancelled her summer concert tour, citing that she was "completely heartsick and devastated" about the decision.

Promoter Live Nation announced she was taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.

The couple's romantic saga has been a rollercoaster, having split in 2004 only to find their way back to each other years later.

Their love story was even turned into a 2024 film, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which chronicled their reunion in 2021 and featured her music. The musical movie was accompanied by the album This Is Me… Now.
