Woman killed in overnight homicide in Kansas City
Police say they found an adult woman unresponsive on the sidewalk north of the intersection overnight.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a homicide at 50th Street and Bellefontaine Avenue.

Police say they found an adult woman unresponsive on the sidewalk north of the intersection at around 1:20 a.m.

The woman died a short time later, per KCPD.

Police say they detained two people who were at the scene when they arrived.
