Kate Garraway fans all say the same thing minutes into Derek Draper ITV documentary

ITV viewers all said the same thing minutes into Kate Garraway's documentary titled Derek's Story, which aired on Tuesday night. The one-off special gave an insight into the Good Morning Britain presenter's life and how she cared for her husband before he died earlier this year.

Derek battled long-Covid since 2020 and at the end of last year, he suffered from a cardiac arrest. Kate announced his death in January in a heartbreaking statement. Despite being unsure about whether to release the ITV documentary, Kate and Derek felt it was important to raise awareness.

Taking to social media just minutes into the ITV programme, one fan said: @kategarraway Bless you darling xxxx," Another went on: "If you are watching #DereksStory #KateGarraway on @ITV can I just say one thing #Bekind Derek was a husband, dad, son etc & this is his story. "(sic)

"Have had to turn over from watching Derek's story with Kate Garraway, it's absolutely heartbreaking," a third admitted as one added: "I'm watching #KateGarraway and #DereksStory on ITV1 now! This is heartbreaking, but an important watch."
