Pregnant Kelly Osbourne ‘ecstatic’ as she announces she’s expecting first child

The 37-year-old mum-to-be, who is dating Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, was thrilled to announce her joyful news after being quiet on Instagram for several months.

In her latest post, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s daughter shared a picture of a baby scan as she revealed how happy she is to be starting a family.

“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… “ she wrote in the caption.

She added: “I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”

In a second post, Osbourne also shared a picture as she relaxed by a pool and gazed at her latest baby scan.

Since confirming her exciting news on Thursday, Osbourne has been inundated with happy messages from friends and fans.

“The news is out! You’re gonna be the best mom!!! So happy for you!!!! Can’t wait to meet your baby!!!” Ross Matthews wrote.

Stacey Solomon added: “Congratulations Kelly! Sending you all the love and cuddles.”

Osbourne’s brother Jack Osbourne has also re-shared his sister’s exciting news on social media. He added: “And the tribe gets bigger! Congratulations @kellyosbourne.”

The expectant mum is yet to reveal how far along she is in her pregnancy.

Earlier this year, Osbourne confirmed she was dating the 45-year-old Slipknot musician when they made their relationship Instagram official.

According to People, the pair have known each other since 1999 when Slipknot toured with Ozzfest.

“After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson,” Osbourne wrote on social media three months ago.

Osbourne has also previously spoken about her hopes of becoming a mother but she admitted her battle with addiction had made it difficult.

“I would have been no kind of mother at all,” she told Red Table Talk last year.

“Because I was that crazy addict that was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’ll stop doing drugs when I get pregnant because I have to.’ Like, that’s insane that I would ever even think that.”

Osbourne, who has been very open about her past addictions, also revealed last October that she had marked a huge milestone by celebrating 5-months of sobriety.
