Live updates: Kevin Sinfield runs final marathon as £1m raised for MND

The Leeds Rhinos legend is now 16km into his final marathon, the seventh in seven days.

His incredible fundraising efforts have now raised more than £1million for Rob Burrow and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The Leeds Tech Angels scheme is asking businesses and employers in Leeds to donate unused laptops and tech equipment to young people across the city who are not lucky enough to have any at home.

But the digital divide that has opened up in education throughout Leeds and the UK is an issue that will not go away when a vaccine is rolled out, the city council’s education spokesman has warned.

Today Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield is on course to complete his seventh and final marathon in seven days.

An emotional Sinfield said he was was "blown away" by the support.
