Asda Tesco and Iceland issue urgent warning about products pulled from shelves
Supermarket giants, including Asda, Tesco and Iceland, have issued warnings to customers about potentially unsafe products amid a Salmonella break out in various Kinder items

Several supermarkets have issued urgent warnings as products are pulled from shelves.

Customers are being urged to check their kitchens in case they have any unsafe products on the go, reports the Liverpool Echo.

It comes after Kinder products became under threat of contamination from Salmonella, forcing a factory in Belgium to close after over 100 people came down with the bug.

Other products have been found to contain high levels of E. coli.

Asda, Tesco, Morrisons are among the supermarket giants to have recalled items in recent weeks, with consumers told to return them to the store for a full refund.

You do not need to have your receipt to get your money back.

When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Safety Agency (FSA) shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.
