Kirstie Allsopp marries longtime partner in private wedding
Channel 4 presenter Kirstie Allsopp has confirmed she has married Ben Andersen in a "private" ceremony at a chapel made famous by Love…

Allsopp is well-known as host of Channel 4's Location, Location, Location alongside Phil Spencer.

The "queen of craft” has also starred on Channel 4 programmes Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas and Kirstie’s Celebrity Craft Masters.

Allsopp has been with Andersen for more than two decades and together they have two sons - Oscar Hercules and Bay Atlas.

Kirstie Allsopp marries long-time partner in "private" ceremony

Allsopp took to Instagram on Sunday (January 26) to reveal her and Andersen had tied the knot in a "private" ceremony.

The wedding took place at the Mayfair Chapel which was also used in Love Actually when Keira Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor character’s get married.

Allsopp also revealed it was the same church her parents and grandparents got married in.

The Channel 4 presenter said she had kept the wedding private, but due to an "unseen pap" was now releasing her own photos of the special day.

In the post on Instagram, Allsopp said: "It’s a huge privilege listening to your son give a speech at your wedding, which is one reason Ben & I are looking so cheery in this picture taken by @catherinebradleyphotography.

"I share a great deal on here and so appreciate all the kind & interesting comments, but I felt our wedding should be private, and luckily on the day it was.

"The upside is that at least I get a chance to thank publicly some of the lovely people who worked so hard, at such short notice, to make our wedding pretty special."

She concluded by adding: "Luckily I already know that we did live happily ever after (with a love heart emoji)."
