Kylie Minogue hints at end of pop career in new statement
Pop icon Kylie Minogue has hinted at a possible finale to her music career. Leicester's BBC Radio 2 in the Park headliner may have new music out, but for how much longer?
The Princess of Pop made the comments this week as she released her new song 'My Oh My' - a collaboration between herself and singers Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo. She also headlined Saturday's BST Hyde Park in London (July 13), but the end for her career could be sooner than expected, the Mirror.
The 56-year-old said that following the new single, an album and tour was likely, but a finale showcase in Las Vegas was possible too. She said: "They have offered me a lifelong residency. "Let's see, I might do the classic and end up there."

If the Vegas residency at Voltaire happened, Kylie would be following in the footsteps of legends like Elvis Presley. It would certainly mark a change from her appearance at Leicester's Victoria Park last year where she delighted thousands of fans with classic songs and her latest smash hit, 'Padam Padam'.
Speaking about her previous Vegas shows, Kylie said: "The shows got crazier. It was what I hoped it would be. It was a cross between a 70s cabaret club and Studio 54 people got quite wild."
Away from the music, Kylie is reportedly penning an autobiography encompassing her early days on Neighbours, past love affairs, and overcoming breast cancer. She is also slated to appear in a new Netflix series.
She said: "There are certain moments where I think, 'Oh, God, how to keep it up? ' But for the most part it's giving energy to create energy. I just have to colour the hair more often!"
