Urgent 'do not eat' alerts for Lidl, Aldi and Iceland shoppers as food pulled from shelves
On February 21, Lidl updated its customer safety notice regarding various cookies sold in the supermarket.
More cookies are now "unsafe to eat" as the tasty treat could contain pieces of metal inside, the food recall alert revealed.
In total, there are six different batches of cookies that are being recalled as they could result in an "injury" if bitten into.
Lidl said: "Customers are asked to return these products to the nearest store where a full refund will be given.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation."
