Lisa Armstrong reveals her Avon makeup range has been discontinued leaving fans 'gutted'

Lisa Armstrong has revealed that her Avon makeup range has been discontinued.

Taking to Twitter, the make-up mogul confirmed the news after many fans started to speculate why her products where no longer available. 

After one follower wrote: 'Morning why am I being told Avon are stopping stocking your range?' Lisa simply replied: 'Because they are hun… x'

The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist later clarified that her collection was only ever supposed to be for '3 years and now times up.' 

She continued to say: 'Thank-you…. It's was an amazing partnership which I have loved every second off!!!'

Another fan wrote: 'Sorry to see you leave avon. i love your primer i use it everyday good luck Lisa xx '

To which Lisa replied: 'Yeah me too but we say goodbye on good terms…. Was a brilliant partnership and so proud of what we achieved!! X'

When launching her range with Avon, Lisa explained that she wanted make her products 'affordable' and 'wearable'.

She wrote on Avons website: 'After 20 years of experience as a make-up artist, I want to share my expertise to create a luxurious collection of professional make-up bag must-haves that are wearable, approachable and affordable.' 

'With this experience, I've created a range that I couldn't do my job without, so you can benefit from my know how whilst creating your own signature look.'

After splitting from her ex-husband Ant McPartlin Lisa used the collection to pay tribute to her pals who helped her through it her divorce.  

An Avon spokesperson said: 'Lisa's lipsticks are named after close friends that are independent women who have supported and inspired her.'

Following rehab, Ant took a year out from TV and he and Lisa parted ways, with their divorce being finalised in April 2020.

Last year, Ant was reported to have handed over £31 million to Lisa, including their £5m home in West London, after an 'eight-hour negotiation'. 

She has been dating father-of-two, James Green, 37, since August 2020 following her split from Ant.
