Six more players confirmed for legends charity match at Anfield
A further six players have been confirmed for the latest LFC Foundation legends charity match at Anfield.

Liverpool FC Legends will face Chelsea on Saturday March 22 in a 3pm GMT kick-off, presented by official training partner AXA, and the squad is almost complete.

Former goalkeeper David James is among those to join the team, returning to L4 after making 277 appearances for the Reds, linking up with Sander Westerveld and Jerzy Dudek as options between the sticks.

In defence, Bjorn Tore Kvarme and Gregory Vignal have signed up to take part once again, while Mohamed Sissoko has been added to the midfield ranks for the LFC Legends management team.

Twenty years on from helping the Reds lift the Champions League, including a memorable semi-final against Chelsea, Igor Biscan will also team up with the legends squad again this year.

And at the top end of the pitch, Florent Sinama-Pongolle returns for the first time since 2022, when he was on the scoresheet in a 2-1 win over Manchester United Legends.

There's less than a month to go before the match at Anfield, in association with Forever Reds, and tickets remain on sale online here with all proceeds supporting the work of LFC Foundation, as well as supporting beneficiaries including Forever Reds, Chelsea FC Foundation and Chelsea Players' Trust.

Money raised will specifically support LFC Foundation's health programmes, which are helping tackle health inequalities across the Liverpool City Region by providing physical and mental wellbeing programmes for people of all ages.

LFC Foundation believes that a person's life expectancy shouldn't be determined by their postcode. According to a recent report, the life expectancy for individuals in the Liverpool City Region is lower than the national average, and there are higher levels of obesity in children and adults, as well as higher levels of ill mental health in our communities compared to the average figures across the country.

Tickets for the match are priced at £29 for adults, £19 for concessions and £9 for juniors and can be purchased here, with full selling details available here. Disabled supporters can visit the Accessibility Hub for full sale details.

Premium tickets are also available and are priced from £60, which includes your match ticket, complimentary programme and refreshments.

Hospitality packages can also be purchased from £195 including VAT. More information is available here, or by calling 0151 264 2222.

Keep an eye on LFC Foundation's social media channels for any final additions in the coming weeks ahead of the game.
