Liverpool and Arsenal face off at Anfield this evening in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash.

The game was originally scheduled for last week, but the match was postponed due to cases of Covid-19 in the Reds' camp.

As such, the winner of the other semi has already been decided, with Chelsea running out 3-0 winners over Tottenham on aggregate.

Liverpool have been boosted with news that Alisson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have returned to first-team training and are available for tonight's clash.

Divock Origi and Thiago remain sidelined through injury, while Harvey Elliott remains a long-term absentee.

Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita and Sadio Mane are away with their countries at the Africa Cup of Nations.

For the Gunners, Gabriel is available after serving his suspension for his red card against Manchester City.

Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard are set to miss the clash, while Granit Xhaka's inclusion is still in doubt after he recovers from Covid-19.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is also a major doubt.
