The One Show viewers all say the same thing about Liz Hurley and ...
Liz Hurley, 58, and her son Damian, 22, caused a stir with The One Show viewers this evening as they arrived on the sofa to discuss their new film, Strictly Confidential, with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp. It wasn't long before BBC viewers rushed to comment on the resemblance between the duo, with one claiming their uncanny similarities should be "medically researched".
The viewer exclaimed: "Liz Hurley literally birthed a male version of herself. This needs to be medically researched #theoneshow," while another agreed: "OMG Liz Hurleys son looks more like Liz Hurley than she does!"
A third fan was distracted by Damian's accent, posting on X (formerly Twitter): "Liz Hurley is on #theoneshow with her lookie likey son. He is possibly the POSHEST person eva." A fourth agreed: "idk if I've ever heard a posher person than Elizabeth Hurley's son."
A fifth viewer gushed: "Love Liz Hurley Her son is so like her #TheOneShow." A fifth commented on Damian's model good looks, writing: "My god he's beautiful, those cheekbones! #TheOneShow."
Liz starred in her son Damian's directorial debut, which has drawn controversy due to the racy sex scenes. Alex didn't hesitate in quizzing the former Gossip Girl actress on how she felt about being directed in intimate scenes by her son.
Shrugging off the backlash, Liz replied: “We didn’t even think about it, literally, until the movie started to be marketed and everyone was sort of going demented, we were like: 'Oh, right.'
"Because, you know what, it was very low-budget, the film. We had to shoot so fast, Damian had about six or seven scenes to film that day.
"This was just one of them and it was just like, knock it out and get through it… And also I think people have made a fuss, it’s not like he sneaked into my bedroom with a camcorder.
"It was on a set, you know, there was like 100 people on the set and you know, everyone knows they’re not actually sexy to shoot, any kind of intimate scene, it’s just technical.”
Liz also told The One Show that she'd made a vow to her son to appear in his first film, while Damian said he was delighted their friends and family had shared in the experience of the movie's release.
Damian divulged: "This has been such a whirlwind. It was so amazing. It was really amazing we had tons of family and friends."
Liz agreed, telling hosts Alex and Roman: "What was really nice was that in the audience for, for my all friends and family, was that every single person has known him since the day he was born."
