Lorraine Kelly leaves Graham Norton Show viewers squirming after
The ITV talk show host was on the BBC programme on Friday night alongside the True Detective Night Country actress.

Lorraine Kelly, the ITV talk show host, had a classy comeback when Jodie Foster admitted she didn't remember being interviewed by her on BBC The Graham Norton Show. Lorraine was appearing on the show alongside the Oscar-winning actress when host Graham Norton asked if they knew each other reports BirminghamLive

Graham then asked Lorraine if she had interviewed any of the other guests before. Lorraine confirmed that she had interviewed Jodie, who seemed surprised and responded: "Really?" Despite the snub, Lorraine laughed it off and replied: "It was memorable for me. That's OK."

Viewers took to Twitter to share their reactions to Lorraine's appearance on the show. One fan wrote: "Can Lorraine Kelly be on the Graham Norton show every week." Another added: "I love how Lorraine Kelly can take the pi*s out of herself and not take herself too seriously. She's a national treasure."

"Lorraine was a great addition to Graham's sofa," another viewer agreed. Lorraine revealed to host Graham that her first book, The Island Swimmer, had Sir David Attenborough to thank for its existence. She recalled: "The wi-fi was terrible, so I went to the anti-poaching station to use theirs."

"They were unsure until I showed them a picture on my phone of me and David Attenborough. "They said, 'Oh my God, you've met him?'. Of course, he's like a god there so they let me use the wi-fi. So the book is here because of David Attenborough.""

Lorraine added humorously: "He doesn't know, or indeed care, I am sure."
